We present a “case study” for school students. Our aim is not to train students to the Galilean-Newtonian truth but to offer them a journey through history of physics. With the help of multimedia and hypermedia tools, they can meet the phenomenon “The fall of bodies” together with the different explanations offered by great scientists: Aristotle, Galileo, Newton and Einstein. During the journey, students become aware both of phenomenology and of alternative interpretations of this phenomenology. Physics does not deliver a final truth, but allows us to join a more exciting adventure: the endless effort toward a better understanding of nature. |
