Catch it if you can |
|||
Students in couples play "catch it if you can". One student lets an object (pencil, stick etc) having rectangular form fall and the second student tries to catch it. This is impossible although their hands are on the same vertical axis because human combined perception and reaction to a movement is slower to the increasing velocity of a falling object due to gravity. During the game, teacher encourages discussion about free fall, velocity of falling bodies and human reactions and perception. |
