Part A

Watch the short film titled “Galileo: The father of science” and answer the following questions.

1. What situations and phenomena are related to free fall in the film that you have just watched?

2. To which Aristotelian ideas Galileo was opposed to and were presented in the film? How did he prove them wrong?

3. Why Galileo instead of letting balls fall from a certain height he let them role down in slopes?

Now see the film once more. Prepare two role plays concerning:

Β) Two astronauts on the moon in 1971 make an experiment about free fall.
